- Assist with daily accounting and bookkeeping functions.
- Process accounts payable invoices and vendor payments.
- Assist with accounts receivable billing, collections, and reconciliations.
- Prepare and maintain general ledger entries.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures.
- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation.
- Maintain accurate financial records and files.
- Assist with audits and financial reporting requirements.
- Support payroll accounting and related reconciliations.
- Analyze financial data and identify discrepancies.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Director of Finance or Accounting Manager.
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- 1–3 years of accounting experience preferred.
- Hospitality, resort, restaurant, or winery accounting experience is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience with accounting software and ERP systems preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to move throughout the property as needed.
