The Housekeeping Houseperson is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organization of public areas, supporting Room Attendants with supplies and linen services, and assisting with deep cleaning and special housekeeping projects throughout the property.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, elevators, and guest areas
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, clean glass surfaces, and spot clean carpets
- Stock and deliver housekeeping and guest room supplies to Room Attendants
- Remove soiled linen, trash, and recyclables from housekeeping carts and work areas
- Assist with deep cleaning projects, furniture moving, mattress turning, window washing, and carpet spotting
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of storage areas and linen closets
- Report maintenance issues, hazards, or suspicious activity immediately
- Follow all company safety procedures and proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Support other housekeeping team members as needed
- Maintain a professional and positive attitude while providing excellent guest service
- Work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- Previous hotel or housekeeping experience preferred
- Ability to understand and follow verbal instructions in English
- Ability to safely operate housekeeping equipment and tools
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, trustworthy, and customer-service focused
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Frequent bending, stooping, lifting, and reaching
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and move heavier items with appropriate equipment
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions
